Yacht - Khandya

OVERVIEW

Khandya is a 30 foot, 30 knot winching boat that has been modified and colored in a camouflage olive green colour to stealthily glide through the narrow mangrove forests and rivulets of the river Mandovi.

The Khandya’s powerful single screw volvo engine kicks up a very low stern wave so as not to disturb the tranquility of the waters it traverses. With this modification it helps conserve the breathing roots of mangroves while moving in close proximity to them.

Khandya is also powerful enough to cut through the waves at sea at 55 kms./hr. while you sit on the main deck to enjoy a 360 degree view or stand up taking in the breeze while holding onto the railings on her raised flat stern.

Khandya is equipped with robust fittings, crockery and an ice box. Her equipment kit includes binoculars, spotting scopes, fishing rods and more…

The capacity of the Khandya is 14 persons + crew while the cruising speed is 30 knots (60 kms/hr).
